Browsing
1. I can't search for more than one type of information at a time from the Resources Page. Why not?
- The Resources Page only allows you to browse for one type of resource at a time. You can subsequently search for further types of information by clicking on one of the links in the chain of links along the top of the page that shows you where you are on the site, or use the main navigation menu to view a new page.

2. I know the resource I'm looking for is on the ASRP, but it doesn't exist on any of the listings pages generated by my filter selection.
- Each listing page only shows ten resource items (e.g. names or links). Look at the counter at the top left of the listings table to check that you are viewing all resources under your selection. Use the First, Next, Previous and Last links below the table to browse your search results.

3. I'm looking for information/a link in a particular topic category but the drop down list doesn't offer the topic for me to be able to select it.
- That's because there is no information/link under that topic category. Sorry! Throughout the site, you only get to choose search or filter criteria that reflect resources held on the site.

4. When I use the navigation bar menu, I arrive on a page where I'm presented only with Academic Staff, PhD students/Researchers, Collections and University Departments whose name begins with the letter A. Why?
- You've landed on the default page for whichever type of resource your looking for. This means no selection criteria has been applied to the information and you've been presented with the first ten items in an alphabetically organised list of all items in that resource category. The counter at the top left of the listings table will tell you how many items there are under that resource. Use the drop down menus at the top of the listings table to filter the all information and find the information you want.

5. The named topic pages (e.g. Resources in History, Resources in Philosophy) don’t show all the items on the main Resources page, why not?
- Not all information on the ASRP has a particular topic categorisation so we've omitted that information from the individual topic pages. These pages only present information relevant to the topic page you've chosen to view.

6. Where do I find the site index?
- The Site Index appears on the right side of the bottom navigation bar on every page.

7. Where do I find your collection policy?
- You'll find a link to the Collection Policy is on the bottom navigation bar and also the About Page.

8. Where do I find your data protection statement?
- There's a link to the Data Protection Statement on the bottom navigation bar and also the About Page.

1. I have typed in my key word but when I submit my search all I get is an message saying there are no resources.
